JJ Martinez is an Arizona native and has lived in the Maryvale area most of his life. He’s the grandson of migrant farm workers and a graduate of Maryvale High School - Class of 1990. JJ began his career in public service as a Phoenix Police Officer in 1994 and was the youngest recruit in his class at just 20 years old.
